Hello,
In DB Extractor, I see a parameter that could be configured to specify how to treat the timezone parameter.

Is there something similar for OPC-UA Extractor as well ?

If not how can the different timezone data could be handled or atleast Local timezone data ?

OPC-UA strictly defines how timestamps are transferred, and we refer to that, so it shouldn’t be necessary. Any server where timezones are an issue are non-compliant, and we don’t support non-compliant OPC-UA servers.

Hello Einar
Thanks for your reply. Do you mean that the timestamps are always in UTC in OPC-UA. I checked and found that it supports storing of timestamps along with local timezone also. So said that there should be someway to tell extractor to interpret the time considering the timezone.

Can you mention the rules that you are talking about ?

That’s possible for attribute values, you can store anything in those, but the relevant value here is the timestamp on datapoints. Those must be sent as UTC. In general, the server should send timezone along with any non-UTC dates.
