Memory Issue with Jupyter Notebook in CDF

Forum|alt.badge.img+3

Hello team,

I am facing constant issue with jupyter notebook in CDF. It often stops working with memory error.

Is there any document - how much data can be fetched / analyzed in single attempt with Jupyter notebook?
PFA for reference.

Also, does Cognite has any ‘compute instance upgrade’ option?
Also, being a SAS product, is it having auto scale feature?

Hi,

thanks for asking this question. The notebook solution we offer is actually running purely in the browser using Pyodide, and there has some memory limitations (see the Quickstart notebook when you open it). The theoretical max limit is about 2GB memory, but depends on your computer and browser.

We currently don’t offer hosted notebooks more powerful than this. We will reply in this thread if this changes.
