Hello,I have to import FDM data into Power BI. There’s a field I need from a table that’s in the edge of a relationship with another table. As you can see in the image below: In order to import the data, I just expanded the field. But when I apply the changes I get the fallowing error: Is there another way of importing this data? Thanks,Pablo
We are a bit unclear on the difference in meaning between the "Uploaded at" vs. "Last Updated" times for Files in CDF.For example, we have seen un-intuitive examples where the "Uploaded at" time is newer than the "Last Updated" time - we would expect that would never be the case. Can you define the logic for these two fields, and update the documentation here? https://cognite-sdk-python.readthedocs-hosted.com/en/latest/files.html#module-cognite.client.data_classes.filesThank you.
What is the process involved in building the contextualized Industrial Knowledge Graph? Are we referring to creation of a GraphQL schema for a usecase and query data using GraphQL?Is there any training link to lean more about Industrial Knowledge Graph? How can I visualize the GraphQL query output (nodes & edges) as shown in many Cognite documents?
HiI am looking into using the is_new functionality in my transformations, but was wondering whether it will work in transformations where is use joins. If so, how would I write the query? In addition, I heard that you are working on releasing functionality to use is_new when reading from data models. When will this feature be ready?Thank you!Sebastian
DescriptionAccess to the 3D should be enabled by searching for the tag in the main Data explorer screen and All resources tab . Click on Data Explorer tab. search for 02-V-0203 see all resources Expected Results:Searching for tag 02-V-0203, does not indicate existence of a 3D model in the main CDF Data explorer tab (count=0). No availability of 3D model in All Resources tab when the asset is selected. Not feasible to contextualize asset information in an easy manner without this 3D view becoming accessible in an easy manner. Actual Results: Access to the 3D should be enabled by searching for the tag in the main Data explorer screen and All resources tab .
Display events in Cognite Charts which does not have End time.Presently Events does not have End time will not display in Cognite Charts if user try to customize Timeseries for specific duration. Not showing the failures linked to the asset in Charts CDF view, not consistent with the linked failures in Data Explorer. Login to CDF UI Navigate to Data Explorer screen. Click on the Charts tab in menu bar Click on New Chart button. Search Time series name for e.g: FQI02005_M.TOTALIZERA.PV Click on the Time series button below the search field Select the check box of the time series FQI02005_M.TOTALIZERA.PV Click on the Events button on right side of the penal Click on Add Filter button Select the Asset ‘02-V-0203’ from Asset filter. Check Events under the Types filter. Expected Results: User should be able to see & select Events like ‘Failure’, Workorder', ‘MTBE’ etc events for Asset id 02-V-0203Actual Results: Alarm & Failure events not listed under types filter
The number of assets shown as linked to the file is not correct. The system is wrongly showing the number of assets linked in the file. And also Linked Asset to an asset count is wrong and same issue for linked files, linked time series, Linked events. These linked is different than directly linked items. (A) Linked (Files): this count means all decedent children of a given asset. (B) Directly linked (files): this count is the number of files that are connected directly to the asset. (C) The file count on top: This count may vary since there might be duplicated IDs amongst the different types - the total number is a distinct value. The linked assets are not relevant to the Asset which user try to refer and these Linked assets will not linked to the Asset.Directly linked assets are linked to the assets which user try to refer.User don't want to see linked asset tab in CDF because its doesn't have a meaningful assets linked to it, however Directly linked asset have meaningful tab and same
Hello, Luchiian Alexandru is my name, i am working for Accenture, I have 9 years experience in Industrial Automation (Emerson DCS - DeltaV and Ovation), 5 years experience in IIOT platform Thingworx and passionate about electronics and sustainability. I want to learn what we can do with Industrial Data and change the world by making it SMARTER..
We have some people who already have Tableau. Is it possible to use Tableau to visualize data from Cognite Data Fusion? If so, any guidance on setting up the connection?
Hello Everyone, I’m new with CDF I would like to know how can we take the best of CDF to implement Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence solutions in my company?
Hi Team, Is there any possibility that I can register for Bootcamp virtually or it can be in India location as I am from India. Also, want to know is the Bootcamp is for individual or group and the cost for attending the Bootcamp? Thanks,Navyasri Indupalli
I have solved the BufferGeometry issue was present earlier, apparently the react-app-wired was not the latest which is why the override was not working.import React, { useEffect } from "react"import { Cognite3DViewer } from "@cognite/reveal"import { CogniteClient, CogniteAuthentication } from "@cognite/sdk"import { getToken } from "../../utils/MsGraphApiCall"import "./Models.css"function Models() { const appId = "KPI-Dev" const project = "celanese-dev" const clientId = "my-client-d" const tenantId = "my-tenant-id" const cluster = "az-eastus-1" const modelId = 7575155737800092 const revisionId = 3624517118008353 async function start() { await client.authenticate(clientId, tenantId, cluster) const viewer = new Cognite3DViewer({ sdk: client, domElement: document.querySelector("#your-element-for-viewer"), }) viewer.addModel({ modelId: modelId, revisionId: revisionId }) } const legacyInstance = new CogniteAuthentication({ project, }) // getToken() const
I am unable to generate client code for the CDF openapi spec at https://api-docs.cognite.com/20230101/ using deepmap/oapi-codegen for Go, seemingly because the spec contains some errors. Do anyone know of a way to generate an api-client in go for the CDF-api spec? Both commands below rely on having openapi spec downloaded to the current directory from https://api-docs.cognite.com/20230101/ Testing the spec for errors with redocly/cli: docker run --rm -it -v $PWD/swagger.json:/swagger.json redocly/cli lint /swagger.jsonFor me this results in “Validation failed with 25 errors and 382 warnings” Generating the client library using deepmap/oapi-codegen: go run github.com/deepmap/oapi-codegen/v2/cmd/oapi-codegen@v2.0.0 --config oapi-codegen-config.yaml swagger.jsonwith the this config file:package: "cdf_api"output: "cdf_api.gen.go"generate: models: true client: truecompatibility: circular-reference-limit: 100For me this results in the message “error generating code: error creating operat
I’m currently writing my Master thesis in collaboration with Aize (represented by V. Flovik), where I’m trying to use Generative adversarial Networks (GAN) to generate synthetic time series data. To do this, I’m using data from Cognite OID. I’ve explored the data in the previous semester, and I figured that one of my main challenges is to find longer periods of data that are “Normal”. Meaning periods without to large irregularities and without too many missing data points. Because even when I aggregate the samples over 30 seconds, there are still samples missing in some periods. Some of these periods are hours long and can’t really be filled in without messing up the temporal development of the data. I can’t find any information about the cause of these periods either. The time series I’ve been looking at are:I’m no expert in process engineering, and I only chose these 9 sensors because another master thesis from 2019 had used these sensors in their project. I therefore reach out here t
I am just playing with the analysis of open industrial data (mostly time series IoT sensor data). It is my understanding that encoders play a role in detecting anomalies in the data. Can decoder only models such as Lag-Llama, TimesFM, Moirai detect anomalies or they can only predict? thank you.
Hi,I’m using the Charts function “Statistics/Outlier Removal” and noticed that the option “Remove zeros” (aka del_zero_val) does the exact opposite of what one would expect. Example of a data stream filtered without “Removes zeros” Example of a data stream filtered with “Removes zeros”Is this a bug or the intended behaviour? If the latter then I think the naming/documentation is misleading.
When I look at event data, I mostly see*** ( i think this is like NULL or NaN - not filled)see some worktask, rule_broken. Condition, etc.I am new to open industrial data. Thinking of using it for a Thesis, etc. Is there a way to get the different event “types” - i tried scrolling, api is not working well for me. Any advice on this front would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
As a user I don’t want to find outdated assets (facilities and wells) inside the PSN Viewer. As one of the traits of the Versioned Asset Hierarchy, CDF assets disappearing from the source will not be removed from CDF but will lose their relationships. Therefore, CDF assets to be displayed in the PSN Viewer must have at least one active relationship. At the moment, the implementation of this rule is missing. The PSN Viewer in Cognite Maintain shall feature only wells and facilities having at least one relationship to a target from the Production System Network. CDF assets from other Hierarchy sources (i.e., I&M Hierarchy) must be removed from the PSN Viewer’s search functionality.

Hi, I’m doing the data science modules, I’m on Notebook 2 (List/Search/Retrieve) and I note that when I use the LabelFilter on the assets, I find a number of assets with a label called ‘COLD’. However, when I do c.labels.list (limit=None), I get only 4 labels and none of them match the ‘COLD’ label. Are labels for assets different from labels that are found using c.labels.list?
Doing the ‘hands-on’ for Data Engineer Basics - “Learn to Use the Cognite Python SDK “ Course."I am down to adding events to CDF from events.csv.I noted that the dataframe df has some entries :NaN” wherever the csv has a blank. Then,However, creating events in CDF fails:the error is: Next, I replace all the csv blank entries with text “blank”, and read into a dataframe. Now the latter does not have any “NaN” values. This throws the same exception when creating events in CDF.If someone can kindly assist, I would be very grateful.Thank you,Doug
