As Daily Execution Leader, when something is marked Not OK and in red, I would like my process experts (those doing shiftly rounds) to be required to enter in a comment to make sure the issue is communicated and visible to all. Make it so that it cannot be skipped without putting a comment.Feedback from the Daily Execution Leader @ VAM (Vinyl Acetate) Unit at Clear Lake going through onboarding now
Ability to import a checklist template from a word or excel file (some sort of required format/template) instead of in UI only. Or pull from CDF or source.
On behalf of Celanese Units: Acid South, Vinyl Acetate, UtilitiesAs a process expert doing rounds on a mobile device it is not necessary to see the measurement reading time series tag associated to checklist item. It is confusing and takes up space on the mobile device. We can see/find it on trends when we are looking for it, if needed. Need a way to hide by default this when setting up a template or set to hide?
On behalf of Celanese Clear Lake Utilities and Loading/Shipping units InField Super Users As someone who creates templates, I need the the template to auto-save work every so often. If there is any disruption I lose all my work and it can be hours creating a template checklist for one routine round of many. When creating a template the <confirm> button is grayed out and no indication of why it will not save. If I cannot figure it out… then eventually have to leave the screen and lose all work. In order to avoid this for user friendly template creation - would like to see an alert indicating the issue/reason it will not all a save of the template. This will all me to go fix it and save my template without losing all the work. When creating a template and linking to an asset sometimes I am not able to link bc I don't know the exact asset ID in SAP. It would be a better experience to utilize the same search that the InField program has at top right (magnifying glass) to find an ass
As US based organization/customer - we need to be able to measure in the imperial system as we use this in all of our work.Entered on behalf of Celanese customer
Hello @Kristoffer Knudsen @ibrahim.alsyed would like to know if Cognite InField would work ok for demo purposes on a giant smartphone (android 55’’)Celanese is planning to demo this to 100 people using something like this https://www.giantitab.com/ cc: @MortenNesvik @Kriti Dhaubhadel @Philippe Bettler @piya dey @Ajo
Entering on behalf of Acid South Unit feedback, as users navigating in the checklists with headers - we love the collapse feature. It would be helpful as we work together on a checklists in the field to show progress of a section on the header/section to know if there is any remaining tasks in that section without having to scroll all the way through. Ask a shift captain, it would be help to collapse headers and see if there is any images, notes, or out of range at a glance per section instead of having to scroll at length to find out where / if there is anything of not to review.
As a Shift Captain when reviewing checklist progress or at end of shift I would like to see any items that have a status of "not ok," a comment, or has an image attached to it, so I can quickly see the most important findings easily and quickly in order to take action. It is difficult to know if I saw all pertinent things when scrolling through a long list of items that are "done" or looking very hard for little image icons or free text comments.
On behalf of process experts at Celanese Acid South unit: There are several A/B pumps. When one is running the other is not. Currently we have to create template with a single item for all pumps and mark the ones not running N/A one-by-one. With the number of A/B pumps running this is a bad user experience and takes a lot of time. If Pump A is running, Pump B is not:It would be ideal to select Pump A in the checklist and enter in the reading. With Pump A running and we enter the measurement, then it would know to mark Pump B as N/ (since they are mutually exclusive)Please work with James Hudson on details of use case.
I am entering this on behalf of customer Celanese - Acid South Unit - InField Superuser, James “Hud” Hudson: Trending in InField.Issue: Too many come up and they are just a random ID # and have no description coming in.For ease of navigating, it would be helpful to have an unselect all button so you don’t have to go un-click the list that InField decides to auto-check when you click on Trends for an Asset. Option to set My Favorites Trends that would be auto checked in Trends for each asset in Trends View. I can learn the names/ids of the time series coming in that I care about and set them as favorites to check by default. Even better would be to have ability to set Unit Favorites/Group Favorites AND have personal favorites where you could decide with you want set as default to open on Trends page. . then As a Learning Facilitator ability to set unit/team favorites to make it easier to onboard new employees and to make sure process experts are using all the features available to the
Insert "descriptor" in Trends section of InField for time series so you can see the pi tag and the name of it
On behalf of AAS Unit and LDR unit at Clear Lake:As a process expert and a loading/shipping expert at Celanese, I need to be able to input text as an answer/to complete the ToDo to capture information for the day’s work. This information should be able to write back to CDF for reporting/dashboard purposes as well. (if this is captured elsewhere, please let me know)
Hello @brendan Buckbee at Celanese has created a chart for the 12 month, but gets an error message. Is there any way that this can be created into a chart. I have attached a screenshot of the calcs. cc: @Kylie R
