As a functional planner I would like to copy a project with a set of activities as they will repeat for the next project such that I dont have to create the activities again and save timeToday the workaround is the functional planner exports and imports the activities again.
As a user, I want the ability to efficiently and seamlessly bulk move activities within the Gantt chart. This feature will significantly enhance my user experience by eliminating the need to manually relocate each activity individually.
As a user, I seek the inclusion of table headers on each page of the PDF export. This enhancement is essential to eliminate the need for constant reference to the first page of the export whenever I need to identify the table headers. By having headers consistently displayed on every page, the usability of the exported PDF is improved, providing a more seamless and user-friendly experience.
As a user, I seek the capability to effortlessly select multiple rows within a table. This functionality is crucial, especially when dealing with a sizable number of rows that require editing. The current process of individually clicking each row becomes cumbersome, and having the ability to select multiple rows at once would significantly enhance the efficiency of the editing task
As a user, I want the option to search for attributes when selecting elements for inclusion in plan analysis. This feature would save me time and effort, eliminating the need to manually scroll through a list of attributes. The ability to search for specific attributes would enhance the efficiency of the selection process, ensuring a more seamless and user-friendly experience
As a user, I desire the capability to save my plan analysis selections to a layout. This functionality would eliminate the need to recreate the plan analysis every time I access the plan. By having the ability to save and retrieve specific configurations, the process becomes more time-efficient and user-friendly, enhancing my overall experience with the plan analysis feature.
As a functional planner, I need the ability to effortlessly schedule a sequence of activities in the Gantt chart or table, based on a predefined order. This functionality is essential to streamline the process, eliminating the manual effort required to space out activities individually. By providing a more efficient method for arranging activities, I can enhance my productivity and avoid the cumbersome task of manual scheduling
As a user, I want to efficiently manage my filtered results in the table column by having the ability to narrow down my selections through search. However, when faced with a lengthy list of checkboxes, I desire the convenience of a 'Select All' button. This feature would eliminate the need to individually select each filter, ensuring a smoother and more time-effective user experience
As a user I have in some circumstances have to click 15 times to expand groups just to see 9 activities, I would therefore like an expand all button groups button such that I dont have to do this one by one
As a user I would like to see thousand separators on numbers such that I can more easily read long numbers
As a user I want to be able to customize the gantt view. To be able to enlarge the left part with the information desired by each user (activity name, production gains, deferment, status or any attribute). Such they I can more easily facilitate planning meetings without too much clicking back and forth
As a user when I expand groupings I see that blank space is created between groupings that could have been used to show more activities such that I could get a better overview
As a user I would like to more clearly identify, through for example colour coding, certain types of groups to more easily navigate my plans through the grouping hierarchy.
As a user when I expand groups - I see that the group summary is repeated per group. I only need to see the summary on the lowest group level such that I don’t get redundant information cluttering the view
We’re excited to share the Cognite Maintain August release! This post covers the Cognite Maintain release highlights. For the full Cognite Data Fusion August release, see here. Maintain - improved collaboration, productivity, and visualizationPlanners meet several challenges in their everyday work, including collecting and keeping track of which data to use, finding opportunities to execute additional work orders, and optimizing the productivity of available resources. Maintain 2.0 offers users a significantly improved collaboration experience, including sharing and commenting functionality. To improve productivity, work orders can now be mapped to different grid areas in the two-dimensional layout diagrams, in addition to enhanced automation of creating plans. We are also introducing improvements on how to visualize activities, with the choice of highlighting and sequencing them directly in the plan or Gantt chart itself, in two-dimensional layout diagrams, or 3D models representing
Cognite Asset Performance Management addresses common business problems faced in the asset-heavy industry, such as aging assets and workforce, increasing maintenance costs, and unplanned downtime. A challenge to close the improvement loopSolving the current business problems spans three main business processes; reliability, maintenance, and operations, forming an industrial improvement loop. However, it’s challenging to close this improvement loop due to siloed architectures, siloed tools, and manually orchestrated processes where often excel and paper-based knowledge gets stuck. Cognite aims to systematically bring these industrial processes together to create a dynamic and optimized asset performance management process that keeps improving. Unlock your tribal knowledge to complete the APM data catalogueCognite Data Fusion (CDF) ties together unstructured and structured data to make a complete APM data catalog. However, CDF can only do this in conjunction with applications anchored
