Hi @Jason Schern , the widget works on my end. It took a few seconds for the client secret to appear. Could you try again? If it doesn’t work, could you share the browser you’re on?
Hi @Revathi.ramesh , I’ve opened a Support ticket with you in copy so we can work on this request together.
Hi @eashwar11 , could you first register for the learning path? https://learn.cognite.com/path/data-engineer-basics-transform-and-contextualize Then you’ll be able to register for the course as well.
Hi @Chris Selph , yes, our instructors are checking this. We will let you know in this thread when it’s fixed.
Hi @eashwar11 , you might find this course useful: https://learn.cognite.com/path/data-engineer-basics-transform-and-contextualize/interactive-engineering-diagrams-concept-and-ui Please note that the CDF projects provided as part of the e-learning aren’t suitable as sandbox environments. If you’d like to explore CDF outside of the coursework, please get in touch with your Cognite representative to get a sandbox.
Hi @eashwar11, which course are you following? Which CDF project are you in?The CDF projects we provide as part of the e-learning aren’t suitable for any other exercises than those described in the courses.
Hi @Chris Selph , thank you for letting us know. We will look into.If you’d like to explore the Cognite Python SDK, I recommend the following course: Learn to Use the Cognite Python SDK. It’s part of the Data Scientist Basics learning path where you can learn about the API, Cognite Charts, and Cognite Functions, and connect CDF to Grafana and Power BI.
Hi @Jason Wyatt , thank you for sharing your challenge and your proposed solution. Our are instructors are looking into it and will get back to you. Until then, as you’re saying, you can continue with the courses in the learning path.
Hi @Victor Alozie , you are working in the learn project that’s dedicated to the CDF Fundamentals learning path. As I responded in the other thread, you’ll find the instructions to generate a client secret in the Generate a client secret lesson in the Working With CDF: Integrate course. If you’d like to explore Open Industrial Data, you can generate an API key for that project here on Hub, in the OID Community. Please note that is a different CDF project than the one your screenshot is from. I hope this clarifies the client secret creation process. Don’t hesitate to ask more questions. Good luck with the courses on Cognite Academy!Enikö from Cognite Academy
Hi @Victor Alozie , if you are working through the CDF Fundamentals learning path, you’ll find the instructions to generate a client secret for the related CDF project in the Generate a client secret lesson in the Working With CDF: Integrate course. Please let me know if the instructions work for you. Good luck with the path and gaining your certificate!Enikö from Cognite Academy
Hi @Luis Ramon Ramirez Rodriguez , glad you liked the course! You are right that events in Open Industrial Data are harder to use as they are anonymised. We are planning to look into removing some of the abstraction and making more information available about events in this project. Stay tuned in the community for more updates on OID and new courses that work with the data.
Hi @ikequarsh ,I’m Enikö from Cognite Academy. First, congratulations on your Cognite Date Fusion Fundamentals certificate!I see you’re working through the Extractor-utils Library for Cognite Python SDK course. I suggest you watch the Defining a Code Schema video that talks about defining the destination.Let me know if the video has answered your question!Happy learning!Enikö
Hi @niranjan , our colleagues from Support have reached out to you and shared the client secret. Let us know if you have any other questions. Good luck with the learning path! Enikö
Thanks for sharing these great tips, @BBB! Refreshing the page or trying again indeed usually does the trick.Previewing the transformation is a best practice we strongly recommend. However, as you’re saying: if there’s a network issue, don’t worry. You can skip the preview step and continue with the course.Good luck with the rest of the path and the assessment!Enikő
