If I try to filter time-series with metadata (left panel in data explorer), there seems to be an “OR” logic. Wich means that if I filter on two metadata key-value pairs, I get results for all time-series that contain one (or both) of the metadata field. This makes it really hard to use metadata fields to narrow down my search in Data Explorer, because more chosen metadata fields means more time-series are shown.I would want to be able to filter with an “AND” logic, so I could narrow my search down more and more, when I select key-value pairs. For example:I select:timeSeriesCategory = “ProductionPlan” priceArea = “NO1”I want to see all results for production-plans for power plants in NO1, not all time-series that are in NO1 and all time series that are production plans.I don’t think this is possible yet.I do see why it can also be practical to be able to filter with “OR” logic, in cases where I select multiple values for a single key. For example:I select:priceArea = “NO1” priceArea = “
It would be conveniant to have a way to request Python pakcages to be installed in the Jupyter environment in CDF.Plotly, for instance, is not part of the default installed packages. I could still use it by using micropip:Screenshot from Jupyter Notebook in CDF.But it seems inconveniant to do this everytime, especially for popular packages like Plotly.
I think this is more of a bug than a product idea.In Data Explorer, all metadata keys and values and all attribute values are show with lower case. Metadata fields like this, become less readable when everything is transformed to lower case:Also fields like “BagnG1” get transformed to “bagng1”, which also hurts readability. It is probably most problematic for units, where units like “Mm” and “mm” become the same.
Asset-to-asset relationships in Data Fusion Explorer are currenly hidden behind a couple of clicks. This makes it harder for end users to get an overview of the Asset. It would be more convenient if the asset-to-asset reltionships where displayed together with the metadat fields on the Details page:Possible placement to show relationships
