Hey Satoshi and thanks for reaching out about this!
Just to confirm, you’re using that “Round” function to decrease the number of decimal points displayed on the tool tip while looking at a given time series data point? How many would this person prefer to see, in general, while looking at time series and calculation data in Charts?
Regardless, we intend to make this a user-configurable, or even chart-configurable, preference so that anyone can control how many data points and what type of scientific notation to see for the work they’re doing.
We’ve received requests from other customers and users who range across the board – some prefer to see as many decimal points as possible to get all the information they need, while others only need to see 1 or 2 data points.
We’re currently working on the foundational storage layer feature that will enable us to support these user-specific and chart-specific preferences. I don’t yet have a specific timeline for when we expect to complete this work + an estimate for how much time after that it would take to add this specific “Choose # of decimal points” preference, but I’ll discuss with the team and try to get more information for you.
Hi @Eric Stein-Beldring
Thanks for your update!

Yes, the customer mentions that they see too many details and want to round to fewer.

Great to hear that. Thanks!
