Hi Ankit, you mention it is possible to Load Data from CDF. Can the same principle be used to Write back to CDFv via PowerApps forms?
Is the Charts Unit conversion available as part of InDSL or through an API for time-series?
Hi @Knut Vidvei ,Do you have an example of using the InDSL library in Python?I’d like to test that but couldn’t find a reference. Thanks,Hector Edit:Found and example if anyone is interested:https://indsl.docs.cognite.com/auto_examples/data_quality/plot_completeness.html#sphx-glr-auto-examples-data-quality-plot-completeness-py
An additional aspect to InField Log-in (perhaps the same for other applications), is that if the user has access to other CDF projects where InField has not been configured, the screen simply remains frozen without any message (ref. picture below). In DevTools, a single request with the following 500 message: {"error":{"code":500,"message":"No configuration for <project>","type":"Internal Server Error"}}. It will be nice to show to the user something like: InField has not been configured for this project, please contact your CDF Administrator.
INDSL has many great functions! Can you advise of any plans to make INDSL also callable through the APIs/SDKs e.g. Python, Cognite functions, Grafana/PowerBI connectors?
A great first edition of the CDF BootCamp! Maureen, Maria and Pedro, together with the Academy team delivered an outstanding week of challenging but fun exercises. Highly recommend to attend and get a hands-on, DevOps oriented experience, deploying and maintaining CDF with a relevant Industrial DataOps use case!
@ibrahim.alsyed those are excellent points. As more data comes into the project, it will be increasingly difficult for an SME to find something relevant using the UI.It seems the project could benefit with additional metadata (e.g. labels) and naming convention, as others have pointed out. Having the capability of putting all together into the same place does not removes the need of data engineering and management. In addition to the ideas above, perhaps applying some out-of-the-box unsupervised clustering of objects of the same type (in the absence of metadata) could help sort/group things. My 2 cents.
