On behalf of Celanese InField super users:
When building templates in InField 2.0, it has been discovered that there is currently a limit of 500 tasks that can be added to a template. Can this be increased? There are a few checklists in the unit where this limit is easily reached. The only workaround today is to separate the checklists into parts, which is not ideal.
Hi@crgomez13 - thanks for your feedback.
The reason why we’ve set a limit of 500 is two-fold:
What types of checklists have this size? And are these checklist you are expected to do in “one go”? In general, we do recommend splitting them up, especially due to the end user experience highlighted in bullet point 2).
However, I’ll set this one as “gathering interest” to see if more people in the community has use cases for 500+ item checklists.

Thanks for the response! We have noticed this problem with some round sheets but primarily within reliability checklists that have multiple assets with multiple attributes. This has led to some of these checklists to be divided into separate parts. We have received some feedback from users that they would prefer to have the checklists not be divided to avoid confusion. Is this something that is still being explored? One potential work around I could see is to group the attributes of an asset to a single line item.
We have discussed internally with Ram and agree this is medium priority for Celanese.
Are there any intentions to explore increasing the limit?
