Hello,

I wanted to checkout on any upper limits for following if limit exists.

  1. Max no of Schemas that can be created in one Data Model in FDM
  2. Max no of fields that could be added in one schema
  3. Max no of Data Models under one project
  4. Also any other limits around the data size or count or number of records that could be fetched in one query or anything related in general if exists.

Please help us out with these numbers, this would help us to plan accordingly!

@Neerajkumar Bhatewara.  FDM is currently in beta and limits are in place.  These limits will change and will be communicated when FDM is made generally available. I’ve sent a note kindly requesting followup on your requirements. :).

Hi, I’ll follow up on @Jason Dressel’s comment. So the limits in the beta are

Beta:

  1. max 2000 data model types in a CDF project, across all data models
  2. max 250 properties per data model type
  3. max 1000 data models
  4. max 1000 instances per request (+extra instances through relations)

In GA, we will enforce the limit of 1) scoped to data model and not globally in the CDF project. The exact limits in GA are still TBD, but will be documented.

Why does Celanese not have access to Beta FDM?

Hi @ibrahim.alsyed,

Celanese actually has access to Beta FDM. The plan is to start using it in 2023.

Hope that helps!
