We're excited to announce some significant updates to our platform's navigation and the introduction of Workspaces!
Enhanced Navigation: We’ve evolved our navigation from the traditional top bar to a more intuitive and accessible sidebar. This move is designed to make it easier for you to find what you need, when you need it - with fewer clicks and a cleaner look.
Introducing Workspaces
Recognizing the diverse needs of our IT users and industrial end users, we´ll rolle out Workspaces. Workspaces are designed to surface the tools and data most relevant to you, reducing complexity and enhancing productivity.
- Industrial tools workspace: Created with operational teams in mind, this space gathers our industrial tools in one central location, bringing data insights and collaboration tools to the forefront.
- Data management workspace: Optimized for administrators and IT professionals, this workspace streamlines access to integration, contextualization, validation and system health insights.
- Admin workspace: Exclusive to users handling access management, this workspace is where you manage permissions and grant users access to necessary resources within CDF.
How does it work?
You can easily toggle between workspaces with the new sidebar navigation. We’ll also guide you through this process when you log in to CDF for the first time after the release.
Additionally, you can collapse the sidebar by clicking the two arrows in the top-right corner. This feature is particularly useful when working within our tools.
These updates are part of our ongoing commitment to improving your experience and making Cognite the most user-friendly and efficient platform for all your industrial data needs.
