On behalf of Celanese Clear Lake DEL (Daily Execution Lead) for Laboratory Unit.

 

As a DEL, I want a function that automatically sends me checklist report or notification through email when they are completed. The benefit of this enhancement will save me time from consistently checking when a checklist is completed.

As a Team Captain, DEL or Supervisor in general, responsible for reviewing and approving a checklist, receiving a notifications makes a lot of sense. We’ll bring it to the team and evaluate when we can look into what to do here.

We have heard from other Learning Facilitators and various folks from Maintenance, Reliability, etc. request this type of feature to notify team captains or other checklist reviewers to review and approve the completed checklist. Is there a timeline on this request?

Hi @Marcela Young, 

There is work happening on a global notification Hub in Cognite Data Fusion, which would e.g. enable the use case of sending notifications through email. There are currently other teams piloting this effort, such as Charts/Monitoring, but once available we would want to include this in InField as well to support the use case above. Currently it’s planned for H2.
