Cognite Infield 2.0: Ability to search work orders through WO numbers

Related products: InField

End users from Reliability and Maintenance groups at Celanese would like the ability to search and pull SAP work orders in Cognite Infield 2.0, using work order numbers in the search field. It has been discussed with end users who brought this idea forward and it is of Low Priority.

@rsiddha thanks for submitting this idea! By “search and pull SAP work orders”, do you mean searching in the top-bar on infield, instead of going to the asset, then reviewing the work orders there?

Hi @rsiddha & @Hunter Beck, thanks for brining this forward.

In the next release of Cognite InField, users can add additional columns with activity data in the “Overview” table, which means that if “SAP Work Order number” is an attribute on the activity (which I assume it will be) users can bring this data in as it’s own column. This data will then also automatically be filterable and searchable, and end users can save multiple different views of this table and choose what to see by default. See an example screenshot below.

I believe this will solve your use case, but please let me know if you have additional insights.
