Hello! I am using Grafana and Cognite as a source of data. I want to implement map visualizations for some data and use different layers in the map plugin. But the problem is that I cannot set the proper query name and in the data options list, it appears as undefined.
I’ve already raised a question in Grafana’s community. But, maybe it’s a problem with the Cognite Data Fusion plugin for Grafana.
Here is a link to the topic in the Grafana community.
Thank you in advance.
Hi Yurii,
We are currently looking into this issue and we will get back to you with an update.
Hi Yurii,
We haven’t tested the datasource with the Geomap plugin so far.
Would you able to provide some sample data, so we can give it another look?
What kind of CDF resource are you using?
I presume that events/timeseries might be not the best fit for this use-case.
There is a chance that this might work with the new Data Models (https://docs.cognite.com/cdf/data_modeling/guides/intro_to_dm), but we need to verify that.
Hi@ipolomanyi
Thanks for your reply. I’ve also checked with Data Models recently, but the issue still remains.
How I can share a Grafana dashboard with you to take a look at this issue?
Hi@Yurii Hasiuk ,
To further check on this, will you be able to answer Ivan’s question?
Best regards,
Dilini
Hello@Dilini Fernando , @Yurii Hasiuk , @ipolomanyi ,
Where you guys able to figure this out? I have the similar issue using the cognite connection to my project and then mapping the signal.
I have a GPS signal for lat and lon time series. When I try to query this, The geomap layer does not recognize lat and lon. I can figure out which actual value its reading from the query so its impossible to debug if there needs to be a transformation.
