I would like to make you all aware of a new tool that is now in beta: The CDF Toolkit. The toolkit comes as a python package with a CLI tool, cdf-tk, and a set of templates that can be deployed to your CDF project to get started. This initial version is focused on Infield deployment, but can be used for any type of CDF project to manage your CDF configurations and resources as code.
