Industrial Canvas - Share canvas with your colleagues using their email addresses

Ref to rolling out new sharing features in Industrial Canvas, you can now share canvases with your colleagues by entering their email addresses and inviting them to collaborate with you. To share - Click the "Share" button in the top right corner of the Industrial Canvas      Type or paste the email address of your colleague   Hit enter/return and then click “Done”   You will see a notification that an invitation is successfully sent on the top left corner     Your colleague will receive a email with the link to the canvas  Happy collaborating! 🎉

Streamlining Access Management in CDF with Group MembershipNews

Hello!😄 We're pleased to announce the introduction of group membership within groups in Cognite Data Fusion (CDF). This enables admins to add users directly to groups within CDF, simplifying the process of granting access and understanding who the members of a group are by checking it within CDF. It also significantly reduces the burden on the customer's IT team by minimizing (or eliminating) the number of tickets/requests they receive to create groups in their IdP, add users to these groups and then link the IdP groups to groups in CDF.After adding the required capabilities to a group in CDF, admins can now choose how to manage the group's membership - either internally within CDF or continue to manage it via the customer’s IdP, as before. Group membership managed within CDF (New)For group membership managed internally within CDF, there are two options: admins can grant access to capabilities in the group to all users in the organization or grant access to users by explicitly adding

Community support for Python 3.8 ends on October 14 2024; Transition Cognite functions to Python 3.11 before October 1 2024, if applicableNews

Community support for Python 3.8 ends on October 14 2024. While Cognite Functions using Python 3.8 will continue to run after this date, we will no longer provide updates or customer support for this version after October 1 2024. It will also be removed as a supported version from APIs/UI. To avoid service disruptions and potential security vulnerabilities in your functions, we recommend redeploying functions with Python 3.9 or later (Python 3.11 recommended) before October 1 2024.Currently, the default Python version (runtime) in Cognite Functions is 3.8. If users do not explicitly specify the version while deploying functions, they are deployed with Python 3.8. The default version will be changed from 3.8 to 3.11 on March 11, 2024.We have also observed in support tickets that function failures often occur due to mismatches between the user's local Python version and the default Python version (runtime) in Cognite functions. Deprecation of Jetfire CLI

 TL;DRIf Jetfire CLI self contained packages or Jetfire docker image is used in your deployment pipeline. Please refer to the documentation below on how to make the necessary changes to migrate to new Transformations CLI. If not, then no action is required from your end. We have handled it for you! :)) As our services mature, we sometimes need to deprecate the tools and services we made earlier. Last December, we released Transformations API with that came great documentation, support in the Python SDK, and a brand new Python-based Transformations CLI for use in CI CD pipelines.The new Transformations CLI replaces the (old) Jetfire-cli, which will no longer be maintained and will eventually be deprecated at the end of December 2022. The new Transformation CLI supports everything the old Jetfire CLI did and more. It is easier to install, and you can still use your existing Transformations scripts with the new CLI with the legacy mode enabled (Refer migration guide below 👇 ).Like with a
