Hello Team I have a .pid file, generated from the https://hexagon.com/products/intergraph-smart-p-id software. Is there a way in CDF to read the files directly - meaning I’d like to see the vector, layers and properties natively and not rely on generating a PDF and doing an OCR.If I must write a connector myself, how do I go about it? Is there an industry standard format for .pid file, is so perhaps there is business case to commercialize such a connector?Appreciate your hints!RegardsAlex
Appears to be an obvious question, may have been asked before. Just wondering if there is an extractor available to read the spreadsheet files and load it into raw/staged data. The Excel can contain multiple spread sheet and perhaps with configuration each of that spreadsheet and its columns can be mapped to the staged tables/columns?
Hi I received a few P&ID diagram where the tags aren’t spelled out in-place (because the space perhaps was limiting), but just an indexed number is given. And in a separate table, the index is mapped with the tag name.Please see that attached image which can provide further illustration. I am not sure if the OCR + contextualization logic can map the index out and place the tag at the correct place. I am thinking it is unlikely. In such case, can you please provide clues on how one can map it - some amount of manual steps and tweaks, if expected, are fine. Thanks for your inputs!
Hello I am trying to run entity matching on the data that is in FDM (Data modelling) and not in the classic assets model. I don’t see an option to fetch such items in the entity matching screen (contextualize menu). Is this by design, do we expect a support to search and select such custom models for matching in the future. Also a similar case for data explorer, even when I have updated all my records to have a data set id, I am not able to search for them in the Data explorer. Just wondering when the explorer can start supporting such data. PS:I imagine, the entity matching can also work if I invoke the APIs directly, but then I’ll have to extract names + description myself and also need to link the results back to their original ids. A visual ways in CDF Fusion UI will be very helpful. RegardsAlex

I’ve been introduced to CDF in the last 2 weeks, very interesting and learning through. Just wondering if CDF has been used for real time monitoring use cases, vs. predictive/BI type use cases. For example, how soon can the alerts be triggered from the time a new abnormal measurement is detected. I imagine that it depends on a lot of factors such as network latency, source extractors, transform functions & schedules, Is there a threshold (say 1hr response time) beyond which CDF can be used.
