Is it possible to gain access to the Github repo for the InDSL? I will use Charts in my work, and would like to be able to contribute to the development.
On behalf of Celanese Clear Lake Utilities super userDoes Charts currently support the option to create cumulative sum calculations? For example, when calculating total usage/consumption of fuel gas across the site, the user usually has to get the individual data points from the raw data sources and then do the calculation manually in an excel sheet. The user has to repeat these calculations every month.Could Charts potentially automate this calculation to provide real-time data to display a summary of data as it grows over time for consumption/usage? Also, would Charts be able to “reset” this calculation every month?
Question from an end user:What is the best way to calculate the percentage of good values for a time series over a year using Cognite Charts? I have a list of PSVs in various units that I need to see if we have data availability of at least 95% in 2022.
Hi, In my endeavor to make a percentwise threshold in Charts: I.e. how many percent of the last week was a time series above a certain value, I stumbled on what I think is a bug.I need to divide the time the timeseries is above a threshold by the total duration of the time window. I therefore tried the “constant value”-function, and set it to one. The default granularity is then at 7 days. I can change the granularity to 1 day as in the screenshot below: However, when I change the granularity below this. Eg. 1 hour, I get the following warning: Ideally I want it to 1m or something like that, so that I have sufficient granularity to measure percentage above threshold over the course of a day.Any suggestions as to how I can fix this, or an alternative way to reach my goal?Thank you
I was looking at trends in the Remote App web version, using the cursor to touch tags. The detail pane shows the tag name(s) and current value where the cursor x axis crosses. The issue is the tag names are cutoff and mostly unreadable, the tag value is showing almost 10 or more decimal places. I would like to see the whole tag name and 1 or 2 decimal places, or use the signficant digits from the PI Server in the first place.
Hi community!I got a query from our customer that they’d like to control the float precision in Chart.I found “Round” function in “Operators” and confirmed applying that indsl to the timeseries data does work. But I’d like to ask if there is any other, easier, way because creating function per every timeseries data is a bit boring. Thanks!
Can the default option be that the week start on a Monday, or maybe give the user the ability to say what day is the first day of the week? This probably varies in different parts of the world. Where I work and live and do things; Monday is always the first day of the week :).
Hi,If you are to share a chart today, you have to share it with everyone. Are there any plans for making it possible to share it with a specific group? The reason for asking is that we have a project that is interested in using charts, but they only want to share their charts with their own users. Ola
can you enable scrolling just for the section of the page where one creates the logic? (see attached picture) it would be nice if I could specify the degree of an exp. for instance y = ax^b+c would be a second order exp, For my specific usecase a = timeseries, b = constant and c = constant.
Hi!Im a designer, working on improving the front page of Charts.I would love to talk to 4 of you, to get feedback on our thought so far. I will show you what we are thinking, and you can help us move forward in the right direction.Comment here, or send me a mail to emmy.reehorst@cognite.com We want to do this for more features and improvement in the future. So even though we only need to talk to four of you this time, there will be several more opportunities in the future!
When exploring the datamodel in CDF through fusion, it would be nice to add labels to the table overview, as shown below.
