might even be better if the identifiers stay the same.
To provide some background on this idea:We assign ownership to a data model so there is accountability on the data models The data model owner is responsible for the lifecycle of the data model including creation, update, split/merge and potential teardown Object types are defined in one and only one data model Applications use queries directly on the data model, we don’t use views to query the data
@Andreea Pastinaru @ibrahim.alsyed , as we roll out FDM objects, there will be more clarity on what the user is looking at, and it will become easier to navigate the data for #1.The use case is interesting as the UX will need to make it easy to bring different but related objects constraints in parallel e.g. the users wants to see Alarms for a given site.
Solution Portal is currently in beta with no current plans to go general availability. There is an ongoing feature assessment to decide on its future.CC: @Crystal Connor Richards
@Jonathan Anoc can you please follow up with Ibrahim?
Just to confirm, the issue is that the statuses in the red box are pulling from the user status and the request is to pull these from the system status instead.
@terjelo, @ibrahim.alsyed clean up is in progress and will help, as the names will follow the existing naming conventions. A few ideas:One quick win could be to sort the dataset drop down.On the 3D model, we could potentially gain from having a similar layout to the other resource types - e.g. Asset with filters.Looking forward to improving the experience in 2023.
@neelkantho.bose this is an internal system. @Ben Petree, can you please follow up with @Ola Liabøtrø and update us on progress here?
Forgot to add an example in Fusion UI, above.
@Erik Angelsen @ibrahim.alsyed , sorry I missed this one. It has been configured correctly a while back, see below:
@ibrahim.alsyed, I am working with Bredan to support the use case. We had a good discussion today and we are making good progress. We should have resolution next week.
I second what Viet is experiencing.Another gripe is the hierarchy nav panel that:doesn’t scroll to the right place when going from list mode to hierarchy mode, which makes it unusable when navigating over a couple of hundred nodes doesn’t stick to where it is when selecting other tabsThe search result automatically switches the view to list, it should keep the current view instead. It looks like the children tab now have the full hierarchy, thanks!
