Hi @Sofie Svartdal Berge Thank you for the update. Do you have a tentative timeline for when we can expect this feature? It has been a long standing request from us and definitely a HIGH priority item for CDF adoption.
@Benjamin A Onweni can you provide additional details on the driver for this request? Thanks
@Anita Hæhre Can you please tag Celanese on this request. Thanks
@Anita Hæhre can you please add Celanese tag to this item, Thanks
Hi, I am not sure if Planned for development is the most appropriate status for things that are in the backlog? We currently don’t review the “Planned for development” items with Cognite product teams, I feel there is a chance something important in backlog - can lose track if tagged as “Planned for development”, without a defined timeline for implementation.
It sure helped our end users at WW, Thanks Kristoffer!
@Anita Hæhre Please tag this product idea to celanese, Thanks

@crgomez13 Media file upload is now optional in our project. The ability to send an observation without a media file has been recently enabled.
@Arun Arunachalam Can we please ensure the specific users building the monitoring or charts calculations decide on what to do with missing data, bad data or un-certain data. When a timeseries is brought in to the chart/calculation, it would greatly help having this ability at the input level (for each of the inputs going into a calculation separately). Thanks
@Hunter Beck we need this item priority escalated on Cognite end and incorporation of this into roadmap and timeline for implementation on this functionality, as this limitation has come across several times over the past year. If you would like us to setup a call to discuss the details, I would be glad to setup a call with our Ingestion team members. Thanks
This functionality need to be restricted to a chosen/select set of users who are to be part of a separate CDF access group.
That should definitely work as a starting point, will circle back with the user who brought forward this request. Thanks for the guidance!
Sure, Please schedule this and include @ibrahim.alsyed and @Robert from Celanese as well, along with me.
Read only sharing for review purposes will be a good starting point, Ability to work collaboratively in building and updating charts with a small group of selected collaborators by owner, has definite advantages while building complex use cases for charts.
Being able to share personal charts using a link to specific email addresses or just by sharing the link to the chart (like we had done with checklists in Infield) would be beneficial.
@Anita Hæhre Can you please tag Celanese to this item, Thanks
If there is a data gap in a time window, the end user should be able to configure whether to interpolate the data or have the data as is, coming from the timeseries data source. This is of importance during root cause analysis, in scenarios such as a faulty transmitter leading to subsequent/major events.
It would be helpful to have the ability to organize them into folders or like how we organize monitoring jobs.
Infield team, this is a key request. This segregation of approvers in different departments segregated and approvers only able to see the checklists of their group is a necessity for adoption.
Having the number of inputs configurable is something many end users are used to and will greatly benefit user experience and product adoption. While we are looking into this functionality, lets look at any other logical/mathematical function blocks where it would be of benefit as well.
@Anita Hæhre , Based on Kristoffer’s comments above, can the status be considered and updated as Planned for development? Thanks
@Knut Vidvei , We have also seen this issue with Charts, once in a while.
